The annual America’s Miss World competition selects a delegate from the United States to represent our country at Miss World. The delegate chosen will compete for Miss World alongside women from over 120 countries. National finalists will be selected based on criteria such as professional ambition, philanthropic spirit, interview skill, and personality. Once accepted into the National Final, the finalists will undergo a preliminary competition consisting of several interviews, modeling skill, physical fitness and athleticism, mastery of multimedia, and philanthropic endeavor. The top 20 candidates will compete onstage at the National Final to review fitness, modeling skill, and interview. The National finalist with the highest competition score will receive a coveted spot in the upcoming Miss World competition.
